Our Story
C&S Solutions was founded in 2001 by Steve Beale, who brought over 15 years of experience in underground utility locating and field service. What began as a small regional supplier supporting Ohio, Indiana, and Michigan utility contractors and municipalities has grown into a leading multi-state technical equipment provider serving the Midwest and beyond.
From the beginning, our growth has been driven by real-world field experience. As utility locating evolved to include GPR verification, camera inspection, and non-destructive excavation using high-pressure water, we expanded our offerings to support the full lifecycle of underground work—from locating and verification to exposure, cleaning, and maintenance.
Today, we continue to build strong relationships with manufacturers, contractors, and public agencies by staying grounded in the realities of jobsite safety, soil conditions, and regulatory requirements.
